One of the most useful mineral fillers, ground from calcite, aragonite and marble.
Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) is one of the most abundant mineral compounds in the Earth’s crust. It occurs in limestone and marble, formed over millions of years.
The powder is made by extracting and grinding rocks such as calcite, aragonite and marble into a white, odorless, neutral powder in a range of particle sizes.
Lumps from the mine are crushed and milled, then ground to different sizes. Coarser grades serve construction. Micronized, high-mesh grades serve precise industrial uses.
Natural sources are chemically the same, but differ in purity, whiteness and uniformity. That is why the grade you pick matters.

Six properties make calcium carbonate a reliable filler across industries.
Micronized and high-mesh grades matched to your process.
Brightness suited to paint, paper and PVC.
Better compatibility with polymers.
Avoids interference with your production process.
Holds steady across different environmental conditions.
Mild alkalinity for pH adjustment and antacid uses.
A versatile filler that lowers production cost while improving quality, across many industries.

Choose coarse grades for construction or higher-mesh grades for plastics, paint and other precise uses.
Adds hardness and stability to PE, PP and PVC, coverage and gloss to paint, and strength to mortars.
Produced in Isfahan from regional mineral resources, at a competitive price.
Where it is used, and the job it does in each industry.
Reduces resin consumption and raises hardness in polyethylene, polypropylene and PVC.
Can make up to 30% of paint weight. Improves coverage, gloss and abrasion resistance.
Filler and coating that improves whiteness, smoothness and light diffusion.
Raw material for cement, mortars and blocks. Adds strength and adhesion.
Feed-grade calcium source for bone growth and egg production.
Calcium tablets, toothpaste, creams and face powders.
Adjusts pH, reduces hardness and forms a protective layer against pipe corrosion.
Low-cost filler that adds body and consistency.
In paint, calcium carbonate is a filler and extender. It can make up to 30% of the weight.
Why it is used
It brings brightness and uniformity to the film while replacing part of costlier ingredients.
What makes it suitable
It improves coverage, gloss and abrasion resistance, and can partially replace titanium dioxide.
Function it performs
Extender that fills the film, lowering the cost of each liter of paint.
Who uses it
Manufacturers of construction and industrial paints, adhesives and sealants.

It is a filler and functional additive in plastics and rubber, paints, paper, construction and cement, animal feed, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, water treatment, and adhesives and sealants.
Plastics (polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC), paint, paper, construction, animal feed, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, and water treatment.
Industrial grades range from 400 to 3000 mesh. Coarser grades suit construction, and finer, higher-mesh grades suit plastics, paint and other precise uses.
Food-grade calcium carbonate is above 99% pure. Industrial purity depends on the raw material and processing, so request a laboratory analysis for your grade.
Coated powder is treated with stearic acid, which makes the particles water-repellent and helps them work in polymers and plastics. Uncoated powder is the standard filler grade.
Calcium carbonate is generally low-risk, but inhaling fine particles may irritate the respiratory system. Follow standard dust-handling precautions.
